Wales

“Croeso i Wales” : Welcome to Wales!

This small and fiercely patriotic destination is fast-emerging onto the UK MICE scene; if you are looking for adventure and  adrenalin-sports, nature experiences, traditions and history, beautiful landscapes and fantastic local produce, Wales should be on your list!

There’s a lot to see and experience – over 600 castles, three national parks, eleven great little steam trains, lots of colourful market towns and Cardiff, the capital city. Zipline down the longest or fastest zipwire in the world at speeds up to 120mph or have a surfing lesson at the first inland surfing lagoon.  Enjoy the views of the local countryside along one of the many walking or cycling trails, climb or abseil on one of the epic mountain peaks.  With around 20% of locals speaking Welsh as a first language, there’s a strong sense of place too.

North Wales:
The Adventure & Foodie Destination

2020 is Wales’ Year of Outdoors and there is no place better to start than the ‘adventure capital’ of Snowdonia, North Wales. Dominated by the impressive Snowdonia mountain range, a visit to this National Park reveals picturesque villages, fast-flowing waterfalls and a coastline of fine sandy beaches with scenic seaside resorts.

The region also enjoys an incredible food and drink scene, it is something of a hidden gem on the gourmet trail and offers a rich harvest from land and sea with many exciting food and drink producers.

With the largest mountain in Wales, wooded valleys, historic villages and endless trails to walk and cycle, Snowdonia is a truly amazing landscape. Come see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!
